Obama Re-election Depending On Illegal Alien Votes?

While I still am still on hiatis researching and writing my upcoming novel, there are certain issues that pique my interest, especially when it concerns illegal aliens fraudently voting in U.S. elections. This of course is one of those issues that no one really wants to admit exists even though the 2009 – 2010  investigations into Acorn’s “community organizing” practices, funded with taxpayer monies, revealed that they and others were actively engaged in registering illegal aliens as well as others not qualified to vote. Predictably those involved, ie the Rathke brothers, backed by George Soros were never prosecuted – Soros being too powerful and one of the Obama administrations biggest financial supporters and the Rathke brothers fleeing the country to avoid prosecution. Nevertheless our electoral system for the most part remains firmly secure in most instances. However, the question remains:  Why is this undermining of our electoral system  allowed to continue? A simple question that remains unanswered.  Just my opinion….WM

Non-Citizen Voting in Federal Elections

Federation For Immigration Reform Report – Updated, November 3, 2011

In 1996, Congress enacted the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act, making it a federal crime for non-citizens to vote in any federal election (or state election, unless authorized by state law). As a penalty, ineligible non-citizens who knowingly vote may be deported. Additionally, a non-citizen who falsely claims to be a United States citizen is in violation of this law.

However, there are many documented reports of non-citizen voting,1 2 and there is no evidence of prosecution of the aliens for their action.  With nearly 19 million foreign-born residents who are not U.S. citizens in the country in the 2000 Census and an estimated 9-11 million illegal residents (many of them not also counted in the Census), the potential is enormous for non-citizens to affect the outcome of elections.

Charges were made in at least three federal elections in California3 4 and twice in Florida5 that voting by ineligible aliens may have determined the outcome of the election.  For instance:

  • In Florida, election observers say a “sizable number” of Florida votes in the 2000 election may have been cast by ineligible felons, illegal immigrants, and non-citizens. 6
  • In California, former Republican Rep. Robert K. Dornan was defeated by Democrat Loretta Sanchez by 984 votes in the 1996 election. State officials found that at least 300 votes were cast illegally by non-citizens.7

Investigation of the allegations established that aliens had illegally voted in those elections, but not in sufficient numbers to have changed the result.  Authorities appear not to have prosecuted any of the aliens who voted illegally. Polyester Politics and Foreign Policy Don’t Mix

Peter McCullough

(I will occasionally be doing articles in place of Bill while he is pursuing his other project)

Well now, surprise, surprise? I don’t think so. Hillary Clinton in her latest move is warning against recognizing Jerusulem as the capital of Israel. Apparently the oh –  so glamorous Secretary of State is in lock step with the Obama administration’s belief that to do so will endanger mideast peace talks. It seems that neither she nor Obama can fathom that Arabs do not want any  peace that accepts accomodation with Israel’s existence as a sovereign state.  Apparently the queen of polyester has lost sight of the fact that the word ‘peace’ doesn’t exist in the modern Arab vocabulary….Just my opinion

Clinton, in a Sharp Turnaround, Warns Against Even Symbolically Recognizing Jerusalem as Capital of Israel

Brad Levy – The Israel Watchman, September 30 2011

Secretary of State Clinton, in a sharp departure from her stance when she was a senator, is warning that any American action, even symbolically, toward recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel must be avoided for the reason that it would jeopardize the peace process.

Her warnings were issued in a brief she has just filed with the Supreme Court — in which she is arguing that a law she voted for when she was Senator is unconstitutional because it could require the U.S. government to give to an American citizen born at Jerusalem papers showing the birthplace as Israel.  Continue reading “Polyester Politics and Foreign Policy Don’t Mix” »

Going on Hiatus

I am not going to be posting any articles on my website in the near future. While my Awstats counter give me a high volume of visitors and over 1, 570,000 hits the past 12 months, I get few comments which any blogger will tell you is the big reward for writing.  I will however, contribute occasional articles to different websites.

Instead I am devoting my time to continue the first draft of a new book I am writing, “Hungry Is The Wolf.”

My first novel which was reviewed and edited is on hold because of a possible legal issue with a co-author, who though contributed very little to the project may have a claim to any profits if the book were successfully published. My warning to any aspiring novel writer is  to not share any control or profit of your project without getting an ‘abandonment clause.” Live and learn….WM

Frenemies in Pakistan

Max Boot – The Weekly Standard,  October 1, 2011

The fact remains that the Quetta Shura and the Haqqani Network operate from Pakistan with impunity. Extremist organizations serving as proxies of the government of Pakistan are attacking Afghan troops and civilians as well as U.S. soldiers. For example, we believe the Haqqani Network—which has long enjoyed the support and protection of the Pakistani government and is, in many ways, a strategic arm of Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence Agency—is responsible for the September 13th attacks against the U.S. embassy in Kabul. There is ample evidence confirming that the Haqqanis were behind the June 28th attack against the Inter-Continental Hotel in Kabul and the September 10th truck bomb attack that killed five Afghans and injured another 96 individuals, 77 of whom were U.S. soldiers.

—Admiral Michael Mullen,  Senate Armed Services Committee, September 22, 2011

With those carefully chosen words, the outgoing chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff blew away the increasingly shaky pretense that Pakistan is our ally, not our enemy. Continue reading “Frenemies in Pakistan” »

The County That Struck Back Against U.N.

Henry Lamb – World Net Daily, September 30, 2011

Local governments have two fundamental responsibilities: 1) protect the rights of the citizens; and 2) provide the services the citizens authorize. To meet these responsibilities, local elected officials must look to the future and anticipate what services their citizens may want, and construct plans to meet those needs. This kind of planning will be referred to as Planning 101.

Since 1992, with the emergence of Agenda 21, the entire concept of planning has undergone a major transformation. This new kind of planning will be referred to as Planning 102. Planning 102 is not concerned about protecting the rights of citizens. Planning 102 is not concerned with what services the citizens of a community might want in the future. Planning 102 is the art of transforming existing communities into the utopian communities envisioned in Agenda 21, and shoe-horning local citizens into them.  Continue reading “The County That Struck Back Against U.N.” »
