“All deception in the course of life is indeed nothing else but a lie reduced to practice, and falsehood passing from words into things.”
Robert Southey

The White House shift toward trying terrorism suspects in military rather than civilian courts includes a political calculation aimed at blunting criticism of President Obama’s national security credentials. While the move alienates the president’s base, that’s a risk the administration is willing to take heading into a tough election with polls showing a majority of Americans support tribunals over federal courts. The administration last week floated a trial balloon to various news organizations quoting unnamed sources indicating Obama was leaning toward military tribunals for Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the accused architect of the 9/11 attacks. Hell is empty and all the devils are here.
William Shakespeare

The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) said President Barack Obama’s budget would lead to annual deficits averaging nearly $1 trillion for the next decade…. the CBO estimated Friday. The estimates are for larger deficits than the budget shortfalls expected by the White House…..The Obama administration estimated its policies would lead to an average annual budget shortfall of $853 billion for the next 10 years….The difference is that Obama’s estimate expects more tax revenue.
The independent CBO and Obama expect a similar amount of government spending over the next 10 years — about $45 trillion. But the CBO expects Obama’s policies to bring in $35.5 trillion in tax receipts, less than the $37.3 trillion expected by the White House. CBO expects fewer tax revenues largely because it expects less economic growth than the White House over the next decade. Read more »

“All propaganda has to be popular and has to accommodate itself to the comprehension of the least intelligent of those whom it seeks to reach.”
Adolph Hitler
Question: Why does everyone assume that having a law degree and being elected to the Senate denotes any type of intelligence? Listening to Reid’s proclamation that ”happy days” are here again, it has occurred to me that Pat Leahy is not the only drunk tottering down the halls of the capital building. What is also apparent is that Reid, Pelosi as well as Obama and his Chicago pimps, are in a disconnect with the American people. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LC211h9AY-4
Reid has shown himself as a willing collaborator in the socialist agenda of the Chicago criminals who currently infest Washington and clearly has no problem with the administration’s agenda of lies and misinformation that is being used as a distraction hide their socialist agenda. Like most of their fellow travelers they seem to have no concept of budgeting meager resources and lving on week to week pay checks like the vast majority of Americans. Reid’s arrogance in his pronouncement shows just how far Obama and his Democrats are disconnected from the American people. Read more »

”….I believe in various degrees of hatred, paranoia, and abandonment. However much of that gets heaped upon you doesn’t matter – it’s only a matter of how much you can take and what it does to you.”
Henry Rollins
I told you this would happen if you invited those tea party people over!
I want to share some excerpts of an article taken from the American Thinker website. The author “Robin” is a frequent contributor to that site and is self described as a recovering liberal and psychotherapist.. The point of the article is to illustrate what we already know: That is liberals, progressives, socialists, communists, and Obamanites in general, are hypocrites and will do anything to smear anyone not on the same page as they.
I would hazard that deep down many are not as sure of their commitment as they claim., why else would they respond so hysterically against anyone who disagrees with them. Simply put they are, or seem for the most part, insecure and in many cases cowardly as evidenced by their projection of fear and paranoia towards those who disagree with them. Read more »

“All business sagacity reduces itself in the last analysis to judicious use of sabotage.”
Thorstein Veblen

Feeding time
Beijing is using its accumulation of billions of American dollars to step up its investments around the globe. In the last year, Chinese acquisitions in the U.S. have ranged from a relatively obscure theater in Branson, Mo., to stakes in such famous brands as Coca-Cola and Johnson & Johnson.
China’s huge stockpile of dollars stems in part from Americans’ enormous purchases of relatively inexpensive Chinese manufactured goods and the significantly smaller volume of U.S. exports to the Asian country. By recycling much of its dollar trove over the years back to the United States with the purchase of U.S. government debt, China has in effect helped Washington finance its deficits. Read more »
