I oft times muse that the dangerous absurdity of Eric Holder cannot get any worse. But once again, I am proved wrong. Last week Eric Holder, the “teflon don” of the Justice Department, appointed Tony West to the number three spot at Justice, acting associate Attorney General.
Prior to his appointment West was in charge of the DOJ Civil Rights Division and was also one of those instrumental in arguing against bringing charges against the New Black Panther Party thugs who were intimidating voters during the 2008 presidential elections.
In his new capacity West will be in charge of “crafting” the administration’s “new” policies governing Guantanamo terrorist detainees.
West while a partner in Morrison & Foerster a civil rights litigation firm, was defense council for American traitor John Walker Lindh, Al Qaeda’s poster boy for home grown terrorists. The firm was also among a number of those who also represented Guantanamo terrorists.
As a sidebar, some of those attorneys involved, working on behalf of those terrorist detainees, were known to have released the pictures and names of American intelligence agents involved in terrorist interrogations, putting those agents and their families at risk of reprisals.
Like his boss, West is an advocate of the left’s warped concept of “social justice,” a policy dedicated to achieving radical socialist change at the expense of the American people – even if it means subverting the intentions of the Constitution in order to achieve their end objective of complete government control over the American people. With this said is it not prudent to question where not only Tony West’s loyalties lie but also the loyalty of his boss Eric Holder?
It would seem that Holder’s Justice Department has gone far beyond it’s mandate of protecting the American people by enhancing the rights of those who would destroy us. If this is the change promised by Obama to the American people, then we are surely lost.
What a surprise that a democrat pulls the race card in regards to Obama not the issue at hand that hundreds of thousands have died for our flag and what it represents
