Beck’s Rally Raised 5.5 Million Dollars For Wounded Warriors

Those of us who have been in the military, have sons in the military and the families of those who have served can easily appreciate the end result of Glenn Beck’s “Restoring Honor” rally Sunday in Washington, D.C.  Beck unlike his weak kneed adversaries on the left, is a patriot. The Obama mainstream media organs were of course hoping for a confrontation between “us” and “them,” noting that us “whiteys” were in the majority in attendance. That being said, Beck’s rally of 500,000 plus, was in sharp contrast to “ol handkerchief head” Al Sharpton’s competing rally of 3,000 Obamanites and their hangers on. While both rallies lent themselves to honoring Martin Luther King’s birthday, the end result was that more “whites” showed up to honor King than did his own people and their guilt ridden fellow travelers - remember D.C. is predominately black. That in itself should tell us something – don’t you think?  Just my opinion….William McCullough

The media were so busy obsessing over the racial composition of the crowd this weekend that there was almost no attention paid to one of the undeniably positive outcomes of the Glenn beck rally this weekend. Fortunately, a few news outlets, including Politico, did take notice:

Beck, a fiery conservative populist, had urged his followers to leave political signs at home. He said that he wanted to celebrate America’s military personnel and accounted that the rally raised $5.5 million, which would go to the veterans’ charity Special Operations Warrior Foundation after defraying event costs….Read more: http://bigjournalism.com/mopelka/2010/08/30/just-how-large-was-the-attendance-at-becks-restoring-honor-rally/

In a sane world imagining how the left is ripping Glen Beck a new a–h— for his D.C. rally this past weekend would be beyond the pale. In their collective evil, prejudiced mind he is nothing more than a garden variety white racist with the unique ability to attract 300,000 people and raise charitable donations of $5.5 million for those who have sacrificed all to keep us free. Meanwhile the liberal establishment replete with its ensemble cast of race card playing, hate mongering, psuedo intellectual, capitalist hating rich elitists- figure that one out- is fawning over the Wiily Wonka of the civil rights racket, Al Sharpton, and his band of gypsies (my apologies to Jimi Hendrix), 3,000 strong. This disgraceful convicted felon’s arbitrary use of “white people” to denigrate anything good or positive is a clear illustration that street smarts are more importatnt than good upbringing and an education.

The Special Operations Warrior Foundation is a superb example of selfless service that occurs in spite of monumental sacrifices that span generations that our media is simply not interested in covering to any depth. Americans have no clue to the lengths gone to ensure their carefree lives concerned with their lives and nothing more.

Glen Beck is a fine gentleman, an honorable man whose passion propelled his love, much like all of us who have served with selfless hearts of love and would indeed stand-to again and engage the enemy. Glen Beck upset me with his roll back against his recent opinion about the Presdient’s 20 year association with a racist, leftist and traitorous ministry. Obama attended that church of his own decision and continued to have a close association and only when it was discovered and publicized did it come to an end. It’s an insult to intergity and a complete affront to the definitition of honor and a complete break with the culture and instinct, sacrifices made every day by special operations warriors whose exploits mostly will never be known in public.

We have the government we deserve because it reflects out most important concerns: money, comfort, advantage, selfish materialism.

Maybe now we will examine how wealthy professional men sacrificed everything they had-willingly, decidedly for everyone but themselves in the present day colonies and generations yet unborn. They signed The Declaration of Independence, lost all their largesse, money, advantage, comforts and ran into obscurity as fugitives aginst the British Crown for daring to stand against genocidal tyranny.

We will not be America if we continue to demonize those men, and betray their basics when it suits us and put ourselves first selfishly. We are one nation.

    Bill,
I would imagine your fashion sense would prevent your pejorative remark of “hankerchief head” being aimed at the Rev, Al “Sharpie” Sharpton. Those of us in the runway crowd know that whatever Al’s preference, be it Brylcream, Vitalis, or melted butter on one’s doo, it dictates refraining from wearing a handercheif as a doo rag since the glop would come through and create the opportunity for calling him a “grease ball”. Now reverend Al may be a lot of things but he is definitely not of mediterranian origin. Maybe his 3,000 member traveling “I have a scheme” road show can take up a collection and get him a braid.
