“Pity is treason.”
Robespierre

I have reported in the past as have others, that Obama’s AG, Eric Holder, is linked to the law firm of Covington and Burling who are prominent in defending the 911 terrorists and a number of Gitmo detainees. Holder will not engage in discussion on these appointments or other issues related to either his direct of peripheral involvement in the representation of terrorists.
It was recently reported that a number of Holder’s DOJ, (Department of Justice), appointees, also from the same firm, had represented terrorists prior to their appointments. Michelle Malkin in a story on her website, (February 22, 2010), and similarly Byron York of the Washington Examiner reported a day later, (February 23, 2010), that GOP Sen. Charles Grassley, (had), pressed the DOJ for more transparency on Holder’s recusal policiesregarding DOJ staff involved in terror-related work. …Holder has been doing his usual stonewalling, refusing to even discuss the identities of seven of his nine appointees, now dubbed, the Al-Qaeda 7. The question is, what is Holder hiding? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZIxg7LmlEQg&feature=player_embedded
According to York, Grassley knew from press reports that two high-ranking department officials now working on detainee issues had previously worked for detainees: Principal Deputy Solicitor General Neal Katyal once represented Osama bin Laden’s driver, and Jennifer Daskal, an official in the National Security Division, worked on behalf of detainees at the liberal organization Human Rights Watch. http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/politics/Eric-Holder-stonewalls-Congress-on-terror-lawyers-85000577.html#ixzz0hyYgcd5o
Also not being discussed by Holder was the results of a Washington Post article, (August of 2009), where it was additionally reported that three military defence lawyers had shown photos of CIA covert ops agents to Gitmo terrorists in an effort to seek out and identify those agents they wanted held responsible for “allegedly” torturing those detainees. The photos were taken by researchers hired by the John Adams Project, a joint effort of the American Civil Liberties Union and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers….http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/08/20/AR2009082004295.html
Now we come back to the same question, what is Holder hiding by not reporting the names of the “Al-Qaeda 7″ attorneys associated with his law firm and what happened to the investigation of those military defense attorney’s who showed the photos that endangered the lives of those CIA interrogators? We might also want to know how much money did Holder’s firm make from representing these pieces of human garbage?
We might safely assume that at the very least that Holder, a staunch ideologue like his boss Obama, is incapable of of distinguishing between what is right and what is wrong, or more importantly what is most important for the protection of the American people. Holder’s refusal to engage on the question of conflict of interests in his appointments and his apparent sympathy, or pity if you will, with the plight of detained terrorists, leave his motives murky at best. But might Holder’s silence be a case of intentional treason? Considering his boss Barack Obama’s seemingly relentless agenda of negating our Constitutional rights as well as destroying our economy, might Holder’s actions be a part of that agenda? Just my opinion.
