Rep. Paul Ryan has challenged the Democrats assertions that their health care legislation is deficit neutral and will not raise taxes. Additionally he has pointed out something the Democrats refuse to acknowledge; the stated cost of the legislation is underestimated.
The difference between Paul Ryan and the Obama democrats is that he, unlike they, understands the reality of the impending disaster being brought on by Obama’s excessive entitlement spending. Unlike Obama who used his scholarship of the Constitution as a way to undermine it, Ryan has used his background in economics to understand and project the realities of excessive government spending.
Ryan earned a degree in economics and political science from Miami University in Ohio…. He has worked in the private sector as an economic analyst and previously served as president of his own consulting firm….He is the Ranking Member of the House Budget Committee, where he works to bring fiscal discipline and accountability to the federal government. He is a senior member of the House Ways and Means Committee, which has jurisdiction over tax policy, Social Security, health care and trade laws. In Obama’s gimmick of a bi-partisan meeting at the White House on February 25 of this year, Ryan pokes so many holes in the health care legislation that Obama actually shut up for six minutes. Ryan correctly explains with clarity, the reality of the disaster that this legislation will do to our economy if passed. Once again the “bottom line” is that the Obama administration doesn’t care what the majority of the American people think. Obama, as shown in that You Tube video, is not as cognizant as his acolytes believe. Obama has proven himself an inept ring master over a circus of fools who bent on their own ideological agendas, choose ignorance as a way of choice, rather than any scholarship that refutes their pathetic attempt at manipulating the American public to accept their disastrous socialist propaganda.
What is at stake here is the economic freedom of our children and following generations. This President’s agenda will enslave future generations to government control of their lives on a scale that will make Orwell’s “1984″ look like child’s play. Just my opinion.
