Question: Why does everyone assume that having a law degree and being elected to the Senate denotes any type of intelligence? Listening to Reid’s proclamation that ”happy days” are here again, it has occurred to me that Pat Leahy is not the only drunk tottering down the halls of the capital building. Reid has shown himself as a willing collaborator in the socialist agenda of the Chicago criminals who currently infest Washington and clearly has no problem with the administration’s agenda of lies and misinformation that is being used as a distraction hide their socialist agenda. Like most of their fellow travelers they seem to have no concept of budgeting meager resources and lving on week to week pay checks like the vast majority of Americans. Reid’s arrogance in his pronouncement shows just how far Obama and his Democrats are disconnected from the American people.
The reality is, as the BLS, (U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics), analysis shows, (table C - States with statistically significant unemployment rate changes from December 2008 to December 2009), that the change in those unemployed, has moved up month after month and when extrapolated against the manipulated figures put out by the administration paint a much different picture than those figures touted by Reid and the rest of the administration liars. http://www.bls.gov/news.release/laus.nr0.htm
To see the actual breakdown of the real unemployment figures, ie those not manipulated for misinformation propaganda by the Obama administration, see the BLS New Release, February 5, 2010: The Unemployment Situation, January 2010. Page 2 of the report shows the breakdown figures of those not counted in the unemployment numbers,. Specifically detained is that, “The number of long term unemployed, (those jobless for 27 weeks and over), continued to trend up in January….the number of people who work part-time, fell from 9.2 to 8.3 million, (a loss of 900,000 jobs.) (Before anyone says that was January, the BLS figures are staggered so the numbers release by the administration this week are not specifically current to date but are “trailing” numbers.)
It is readily apparent that this administration, in their motis operandi of obfuscation, are supported in their misinformation propaganda campaign by their partners in crime, the main stream media. We have not yet had any real analysis from the media as to the real extend of unemployment in this country.Apparently, or so it would seem, the journalism colleges are more concerned with teaching leftist ideology than showing up and coming journalists how to analyze, investigate and question the propaganda put out by the current administration. I will admit however that they fell all over themselves in that regard when reporting on the Bush administration.
Simply put Reid and the rest of the D.C. “mob” are once again playing us. The economy is still in the dumps and despite the phony jobs stimulus bill, is not likely to improve in the near future. The public, grasping at straws for good news where there is none, are the victims in the charade being manufactured by this administration and their liberal elite fellow travelers. Should you think I am a harbinger of doom, than so be it. I don’t know about you but my plans do not include being led into a shackled servitude to a socialist government. Just my opinion.
