President Obama criticized senators Wednesday for using a legislative tactic he once practiced himself, saying that Republicans were delaying confirmation votes on several of his nominees for reasons unrelated to their qualifications.
“We’ve got a huge backlog of folks who are unanimously viewed as well qualified — nobody has a specific objection to them — but end up having a hold on them because of some completely unrelated piece of business,” Obama said at a question-and-answer session during the Senate Democratic Conference, held at the Newseum.
Senate rules allow members to place a hold on nominees — to block their consideration by the chamber — at any time for any reason. Such holds are often placed privately, making it exceedingly difficult for those outside the Senate to track their use, and they can be a powerful tool to influence the executive branch.

Here we go again. Everyone is picking on the boy President again. Obama, like a special needs child, seems incapable of playing the D.C. game unless it’s handed to him on a platter. Talk about a spoiled hypocrite. This President has consistently displayed irritation and a barely submerged anger whenever someone challenges his appointment choices or policies. One might conclude that a hint of paranoia fuels his reaction to any opposition to his agenda.
That being said, perhaps the time has come to not only set qualification standards for those running for elected office, but also psyche evaluations. However, were that to actually happen we might see the unemployment rate go higher. The pimps and hookers as well as the K street crowd would find themselves sifting through garbage cans for their next meal if they were ever denied the privilege of servicing those elected parasites who loot our treasury on a daily basis. Make no mistake, Obama and his administration are just as parasitic as those who have gone before them. The only “change” so far is that we now have a spoiled brat for President, a child who is masquerading as a man. Just my opinion.
