Political Public Opinion: ‘I Will Never Tell A Lie To The American People!”

“All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”

Edmund Burke

I did not chop down that cherry tree!

In a continuing program of lies, distortians and misinformation, the Obama White House is still patently trying to justify it’s rational for trying terrorists in U.S. civilian courts. The so called “mainstream” media is once again neglecting the full story as is par for the course. Now the administration is once again ignoring the wishes of the American  public to try these Jihadist animals in front of military tribunals. Instead they are pondering where next to move the trial. Their rational is that this is not the first time terrorists have been tried in civilian courts and have put that justification forward by tweaking the numbers of how many have in fact been tried in U.S. courts:

The assertion that 195 terror cases have been successfully handled in criminal courts since 2001 — the administration’s latest talking point in support of trying terrorists in criminal courts — is bogus, according to author and national-security expert Andrew C. McCarthy.

In November, senior White House adviser David Axelrod said on CNN’s State of the Union program: “We’ve had, you know, since 2001, have had 195 terrorism cases in the courts, and we’ve been successful 91 percent of the time. We’re very confident about these cases, and we believe that this is the appropriate thing to do.”  In recent weeks, the statistic has been widely cited. But only a handful of the 195 cases involved actual terror plots, McCarthy writes in National Review Online , (February 1, 2009), in a piece titled “Rigging the Numbers.”

McCarthy says the statistic stems from a report published by Human Rights First, which included terror-related crimes that did not necessarily involve terror plots: Immigration fraud, financial fraud, and false statements cases, for example. Comparing those cases to the Christmas Day bomber and 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed is “both false and an exercise in hypocrisy,” McCarthy says.

McCarthy, a former assistant U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York, says many of the 195 prosecutions “involve people in the U.S. who are not themselves terrorists. Instead, they either contribute money and other assets to the Jihadist cause (e.g., by contributing money to ‘charities’ that are actually fronts for al-Qaeda or Hamas), or else help terrorists surreptitiously move their funds from place to place.”   http://newsmax.com/InsideCover/mccarthy-obama-terror-trials/2010/02/01/id/348599?s=al&promo_code=9677-1

Unfortunately for us this once again goes to the administration’s refusal to admit that there is actually a “war on terror” and that these cretins are in fact enemy combatants, not protected by the Geneva Convention or the U.S. Constitution.  The are neither soldiers or U.S. citizens. The idea that these animals deserve any consideration is proof that the Obama administration holds all those who have died on 911, all the military personnel who have died fighting and the American public who have suffered as a result, are of no consequence to the wishes of this socialist ideologue.  The Obama administration may in fact be the real enemy of the American people.  Just my opinion.
