Political Public Opinion: China Dictating U.S. Foreign Policy?

“Fear has it’s use, cowardice does not.”

Mahatma Gandhi

Very good Barack, later tonite you kiss my ass – ok?

It is no secret that this President has  sold our sovereignty to various international interests as part of the “new world order” agenda. The most egregious example is the unparalleled borrowing of money from the Chinese government. You may remember that in October of 2009, Obama cancelled his meeting with the Dali Lama in an effort to keep the Chinese “happy.” http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/northamerica/usa/barackobama/6262938/Barack-Obama-cancels-meeting-with-Dalai-Lama-to-keep-China-happy.html

Following that acquiescence to China’s wishes, Obama then showed his subservience to the Chinese when he bowed to Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao a month later in November of 2009, while traveling to Asia in another wasted effort  in furtherance of an ineffective foreign policy.  It was noted that when he bowed to Jiabao, the Chinese Premier remained standing erect; master to servant.

In December of 2009, while Obama was in Copenhagen to help boost Al Gore’s bottom line, the American press were barred from a meeting between Jiabao and the President, by Chinese security agents. This reported by the Christian Science Monitor reporter, Linda Feldman. http://gawker.com/comment/17710294/

Fast forward – February 1, 2009:  China, on Monday,  warned of sanctions against US firms involved in the multi-billion Dollar arms deal with Taiwan.  At a regular media briefing in Beijing, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ma Zhaoxu asked the American companies not to overlook the strong objections raised by Beijing on the issue.sale to Taiwan would seriously undermine Sino-US ties. It posed a major threat to Beijing’s core interests and would affect bilateral cooperation on several regional and international issues. http://www.rttnews.com/ArticleView.aspx?Id=1197888&SMap=1

“Some U.S. companies, which ignore the stern objections of the Chinese government and decide to sell weapons to Taiwan regardless, will face sanctions,” Ma said.

Today – February 2, 2009:   China has warned that ties with the US would be undermined if US President Barack Obama met, (meets with), the Dalai Lama. Communist Party official Zhu Weiqun said such a meeting would “threaten trust and co-operation” between Beijing and Washington. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/8492608.stm

The question now is, will the President once again accede to the wishes of his Chinese pay masters, or will he show a little arrogant dignity and ignore their wishes? Once again a tough call because we don’t really know where this President’s loyalties lye given his past actions.  Just my opinion.
