Political Public Opinion: Another Obama Campaign Lie Exposed

“The American people are tired of liars and people who pretend to be something they’re not”

Hillary Clinton

What part of transparency don’t you understand?

The recent awarding of a lucrative federal contract to a company owned by a financial contributor to the Obama presidential campaign — without competitive bidding — “violates” President Obama’s many campaign pledges to crack down on the practice, a top State Department official told Fox News.

The contract in question, worth more than $24.6 million, was awarded on Jan. 4 by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) to Checchi and Company Consulting, a Washington, D.C.-based firm owned by economist and Democratic Party donor Vincent Checchi. The deal called for Checchi’s firm to train lawyers and judges in Afghanistan and thereby strengthen the “rule of law” in the war-torn country.   http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/01/31/state-department-admits-bid-contract-violates-obama-campaign-pledges/

You will remember Obama’s campaign speech where he promised lobbyists and and outside influences would not be able to curry favor in his administration and transparency was a promise? That was then and this is now.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o5t8GdxFYBU

It’s no stretch that in the case of Hillary, it is like the pot calling the kettle black, (no pun intended.) She is an integral part of the Clinton administration’s corruption.  http://www.prorev.com/legacy.htm

The only problem with our current dilemma is that the American people still for the most part seem to moderate their protest rather than take to the streets.  Were the political situations reversed, the radical left would be in the streets protesting. The time for gentlemanly behaviour is long past.   Just my opinion.

Hmmm….I guess Hillary knows what she’s talking about.
