The stimulus has done nothing to promote private sector employment, and it seriously damaged the president’s credibility. In selling the plan, the White House said the stimulus would hold unemployment to 8 percent. Unemployment is holding at 10 percent. The administration can argue, with some justification, that things might have been worse without the stimulus. But voters are seldom swayed by this sort of “you-don’t-know-how-good-you-got-it” argument…. The stimulus had two other important effects. It united a dispirited Republican party, and it lulled the White House into a false sense of security.
It is remarkable just how out of step the White House became. Health care reform, the bailouts, and cap and trade are not only unpopular. The public sees them as unimportant. Last week the Pew Research Center released a list of the public’s priorities. Number one is the economy. Health care is eighth. Financial regulation is fifteenth. Global warming? President Obama’s State of the Union address this past week once again showed a man out of touch with the majority of Americans. Obama’s vision of the perfect economy follows the doctrine of John Maynard Keynes, better known as Keynesian economics. Keynes, a British elite, was a proponent of government intervention and control of capitalist economies. Obama and the radical progressive true believers consistently deny that Keynesian economics has resulted in yoking the free market in Europe. Over regulation of the free market and progressive social legislation coupled with generational entitlements have all but destroyed the spirit of prosperity in western Europe, yet their economic policy follows in that foot steps of that failed economic model. The idea that the government can create jobs failed once before during the F.D.R. presidency and set the country up for an even deeper depression. The advent of WWII saved the U.S. economy that Roosevelt and his progressive advisors almost destroyed – Obama is following in his footsteps.
If nothing else is certain one thing is, modern day radical social progressives cannot seem to wrap their pea brains around the fact that government produces nothing and bureaucracy by it’s parasitic nature drains the fruits of economic gains by over taxation and economic restriction. I believe that radical progressives are nothing more than the forbearers of “totalitarian socialism.” This I believe is Barack Obama’s end game. Just my opinion.

Let’s not make this complicated. We all know why there was NO coverage for the public eye. When faced with an accusation the guilty rarely provides a qualified denial of guilt, and their verbal accomodation only serves to deepen their guilt

WHERE INSIDE THIS PRESIDENT DOES HE DARE TO EVEN UTTER THAT PHRASE AND WHY DOES HE FEEL IT NECESSARY TO DEFEND FROM THAT PERSPECTIVE?
