“There is no sin except stupidity.”

Whaddaya think Joe, are they buyin it?
The United States is about to lose a key arms-control tool from the closing days of the Cold War — the right to station American observers in Russia to count the long-range missiles leaving its assembly line. The end of full-time, on-site access will likely ignite complaints in Congress, with insiders from both parties arguing over whether the George W. Bush or the Obama administration is responsible.
Republicans are worried by the previously undisclosed agreement between the Obama administration and the Kremlin in October, which formalizes the inspectors’ departure this Saturday. This, they warn, would cripple Washington’s ability to police Moscow’s compliance with agreed reductions in its nuclear arsenal. I was thinking this morning that maybe I should tone down my criticism of President Obama’s betrayal of our national security interests. This breaking story however reinforces my opinion of Obama as a fifth columnist; the question is who is he working for. The last ridiculous caricature to inhabit the White House was Jimmy Carter. Thinking back on his actions it is easy to see that despite his inept policies, that he, unlike Obama was actually sincere in his beliefs. Obama on the other hand appears almost robotic and indifferent to the resultant damage he is causing our national security and international interests abroad.
I will state however “that this man is not as stupid as he acts.” Every move he makes is a broad based calculation intended to further degrade U.S. interests. Simply put Obama is setting up the stage for another world war in the near future. The Russians have always displayed a national character based on expansion of their borders and domination of other countries. The U.S. has been the only power capable of thwarting and holding those ambitions in check. o
Now that Obama is slowly eroding our ability to make sure the Russian barbarians are not producing weapons controlled by current treaty, he is placing world peace in jeopardy. His slow progression of neutering our capabilities and degrading our military, (witness his current weakness in determining a coherent “strategy for Afghanistan), is setting up the U.S. and the rest of the somewhat “free world,” for a fall.
Knowing this can we actually survive the next 3 years of his betrayal of our power and interests at home and abroad? I’m not so sure. Just my opinion.

All the more reason to vote differently. Until the Republicans revise and revamp the party, this is what we will get. More of the same. Republicans and Democrats—more of the same
Cemetery scene, Godfather I, Tom hagen remarks to Michael Corleone, ” I thought it would have been Clemenza.” ” No Tom, Tessio was always smarter, it was the smart move.” says Michael. Remember these words, this scene as our allies make the “smart move” away from us once they sense that we can no longer protect them from the ‘Red Menace II” that we created when after the Berlin Wall came down and eventually the USSR came apart at the seams and the west filed that vacumn with carpet baggers instead of statesmen and statesmanship. Again we see that there is nothing new under the sun: the rich and powerful get richer and more powerful and the shlubs get shlubbed….
