One of the great misperceptions of Islam is that it is a beacon of light, love, understanding; a peaceful religion. It is at this point that we must part ways with the historical revisionist apologists. It may have been true that during the brutal advent of the “dark ages,” that Arab Islamic culture was on the ascendancy. Islam at that time was a force that over came factional tribal vendettas and pagan worship, bringing a degree of higher civilization for that time. The main problem with Islam today is that it has not kept up with modern civilization and it’s current form of fundamentalism is a bastardization of it’s original intent.
Unfortunately the west, starting in Europe, adopted immigration policies that accepted the inclusion of Islam into their European society. The problem was the Muslims, due to the restrictive tenets of Islam which do not accept other cultures and religions, did not reciprocate. As a result the Europeans in their “enlightened” misperceptions, invited a plague upon the west. The Muslims will accuse this attitude of being racist and intolerant, but it is only a backlash reflection to their own barbaric religion.
Barack Obama is perhaps one of the greatest apologist’s for this religion which in addition to religious precepts, is also a prescription of feudal control over the ignorant and under educated adherents of that religion. This then brings us to the question of why, those highly educated and successful, (by western standards), Muslims choose to subscribe to this throwback religion? A religion that represses free thought, free choice and is totally repressive of females?
The greatest disservice to modern Islam is not only the liberal non-Muslim apologists who excuse the excesses of that religion, but the educated Muslims themselves who rarely if ever protest the brutality inherent in Islam. The fact of the matter is that Islam is more than a religion, it is a dogma for total control of individual thought and action. That would seem to make it a perfect fit with Obama’s agenda of socialist government control and by rote the American people. Just my opinion.

This is nothing new. Our forefathers were blessed with the ability and prompting to consult with and follow the Almighty for this vaey nation we love and adore.
