The problem with applying liberal sentiment to matters of national security, manifested itself yesterday. A federal court judge, Micheal Mihm, gave an Al Qaeda sleeper agent a “light” 8 year sentence because the thug was allegedly received “unacceptable” treatment while incarcerated in a South Carolina Naval Brig for the last 6 years. An article in the Los Angeles Times reported today, October 30, 2009, (http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/nation/la-na-enemy-combatant30-2009oct30,0,2365132.story), that Mihm ‘s actions were based on a stinging critique of government interrogation techniques. The article also reported that Judge Mihms also said, ” My personal belief is that, (al-Marrti’s treatment), was not acceptable….That’s not who we are.” Judge Mihm’s sentiments however, go to the greater issue of liberal naivete.
The liberal sentiment for considerate leinency toward terrorists, is a ridiculous notion that no doubt was put forth by someone who had never experienced any terror themselves. If they had, they were too weak minded to affect outrage at those responsible for their experience. The fact is that these terrorists have never shown themselves repentant in any way shape or form. They do not accept our morality and use the mantle of ‘jihad’ as an excuse for their depraved indifference for human life. I believe as such they are not entitled to any ‘moral’ consideration in their treatment and given their mind set, I believe, should be executed upon capture rather than given any consideration of leniency.
The idea that these animals should be given constitutional rights, equivalent to ours, is not just outrageous but incredibly stupid. That idea makes us a laughing stock to the jihadists and only increases their commitment to destroy us. In the abstract you might say that this liberal sentiment only encourages further terrorist acts. Just my opinion.

Hey judge, guess again-this is who I am as are millions of other Americans who are in the Islamists’ cross hairs. When they eventually destroy our country, our culture from the inside out, you and the rest of your traitorous ilk will be the first batch to be done away with. And why? Because they will have the greatest disdain of all for weasels like yourself and the rest of your vomit like traitor brethren. They will not trust any of you for a nano second.
