Home Depot Enables Illegal Immigration But Punishes Patriotism

“Our heroes are those….who….act above and beyond the call of duty and in doing so give definition to patriotism and elevate all of us….America is the land of the free because we are the home of thee brave.”

american-flag-2a.jpg Trevor Keezer a young Home Depot worker was fired for wearing a pin that quoted our Pledge of   Allegiance. which said “one nation under God.” Trevor’s brother is in the Army and his wearing of the pin was to show his support for the troops. He had worn the pin for over a year before he was fired. Home Depot did not like the idea of using the word  ‘God” which apparently was against company policy. You will remember that Home Depot also banned the term ‘Merry Christmas” a few years back. Public outcry put an end to that. That issue aside lets look at what Home Depot policy does support.

On any given day in Los Angeles, you can see hundreds of illegal alien men hangining around Home Depot parking lots hassling people for work. Home Depot allows this because they feel it will bring more business from contractors who are looking for cheap laborer, will patronize their stores.

In the areas where Home Depot allows these people to congregate, the car burglary and vandelizing of property is rampant. Added to that these individuals urinate in and around cars and as a rule by late afternoon many are roaming the surrounding areas drunk. Once again I know this because one of the last details I worked before retiring was dispersing these individuals who were encouraged by Home Depot policy to congregate in front of their stores.

The political correctness buffoons seem to have it both ways. Local politicians afraid who are afraid of advocacy groups and the illegal alien vote, (it has been estimated by the State of California that almost 6% of the votes are cast by illegal aliens), turn a blind eye to the problem. So there you have it, Home Depot supporting criminality and punishing patriotism. What have we come to?

I personally stopped shopping at Home Depot for that very reason; I encourage you to do the same. Unless of course you feel patriotism should take a back seat to patriotism.  Just my opinion.

In Mexico City a worker at “En Casa Estación” was fired for driving to work in his pick-up truck with a Mexican flag window decal; this same “En Casa Estacion” which encourages out of work Americans to loiter in its parking lot and harass the Mexican shoppers. Wow, such hypocrisy! Rather stupid isn’t it? It would be rather stupid if it were true, which it is in the U.S. but nowhere else as far as we know. Again, its not “God Bless America” but rather, “God Help America.”

I don’t think it’s an either or thing but firing the guy for that because it might “offend” someone is a joke. More and more we see this happening. Most recently there was a firefirighter who was sent home for having an American flag decal on his locker.
