“The world is expecting a lot from me.”
Barack Obama – Addressing the UN General Assembly
French President Nicholas Sarkozy, according to reports, is furious at President Obama for not exposing the second Iranian nuclear weapons development site in his address to the UN General Assembly last week. According to sources, mentioned on Greta van Sustrin’s News Show on the Fox News cable channel, Sarkozy described Obama as, (I am once again paraphrasing), as ”being naive and having an incredible ego, an ego so big that it cannot recognize it’s naivete.”
The word in Europe is that our allies are beginning to think Obama’s naivete is so great that his judgement on foreign policy is leading our enemies to view him as inept and weak, and fear that the Presidents foreign policy is putting their security at risk. This development will of course undermine our alliances and totally destroy any perception of credibility and strength, of our nation, in the eyes of our enemies – Obama it would seem is not of the real world.
We then have his betraying our allies in eastern Europe by abrogating the missile defense shield and giving the impression that he will do anything to get the Russians to like us, not to mention his initiating further negotiations with North Korea over their nuclear weapons development – a move by the North, no doubt, for more American food aid while they continue to build their arsenal.
To further muddy the waters it was reported today, Cuba, com – From Novasti, (The Russian News Agency), Wednesday, September 30, 2009, that U.S. State Department officials have been meeting with Cuban government officials and members of the opposition, in Havana for the last six days. Lets look at that more carefully and ask, what opposition? The opposition are dead or incarcerated in the Isle of Pines prison, and furthermore, other than sugar, cigars and refugees, what has does Cuba have to offer us?”
So now the dilemma of what to do – who knows? This President is all over the map. Try to pin him down on any issue and you get the ivories bracketed by two big ears and a dead look in the eyes, giving further pontification of what he wants to accomplish, but can’t explain what it is other than the intended results – which are? That is the weakness of Obama’s character. This President like a parrot speaking by rote, says the same thing, over and over and over again – me, me, me, I……leaving me to wonder what more is there to say, because there is nothing we can do about him at this point – other than just pray our country is still somewhat intact when this walking disaster leaves office. Just my opinion.
