“The very atmosphere of firearms anywhere and everywhere restrains evil interference – they deserve a place of honor among all that is good.”
George Washington
Historical Perspective:
The firearm is in my opinion, the most important invention for the good in the history of man. Before the the firearm, tyrants and their minions, could rule over good people with little or no retaliation. This because it took more time and effort to become proficient with the weapons of the age than it did with firearms.
In the early days of firearms the bow and arrow were far superior to the early gun in both ballistics and rate of fire, but the advantage of the fire arm was that unlike the bow, which took a long time to master, a person could become proficient with a firearm in a matter of days.
The time in training and proficiency necessary in the use of weapons prior to the advent of guns, prohibited the common man, whose time was spent farming or in a trade in order to feed his family, from being able to effectively wield a weapon in his own defence. This however was not the condition that prohibited the parasitic aristocrats and common criminals, who had plenty of time to train with weapons whoch allowed them to overpower, control, rob and steal from honest people, the fruits of their labors.
The advent the firearm now allowed honest citizens the means to protect themselves and their families, with very little training, and the ability to resist the despotic elitist aristocrats. Knights, once considered the cream of the aristocracy, who spent their entire lives training with weapons, could now be felled with one bullet fired by a peasant, who was able to learn how to use the firearm within a few days.
Gun Control:
Since the advent of firearms and the common man’s ability to obtain and employ that weapon in the defence of his family, possessions and property, the elite aristocrats and their hereditary descendants, vicious warlords, radical socialists, communists and other oppressive rulers, have tried to limit the common man’s access to either firearms, ammunition or both.
We are now in an accelerating condition of having the elites, those who control government, finance and information flow in modern society, trying to limit access to ammunition – they know that gun ownership is the only barrier to the elites having total control over the common man. In this vain they have demonized the gun as the reason for crime and violence in America – ignoring the fact that the criminal predators, those responsible for the violence, are limited in their ability to extort and murder when the locals not only possess but are allowed to carry concealed weapons on their person. This very fact has been detailed by not only gun owner advocacy groups but by internal Department of Justice statistics.
One of the best examples of the elitists and their radical socialist allies attempt at firearms control, is in California, (not called the “left coast” without reason.) In the past the state has failed to derail the constitutional right to bear arms – their latest attempt is AB 962, passed by the Democratic majority in both houses of the California legislature, awaits an active veto by the governor. Should the governor sign this bill into law, it will be virtually impossible for honest gun owners to obtain ammunition for their weapons – but will in no way inhibit the common criminals from obtaining ammunition – they do not follow any rules.
This current campaign, despite the same scheme failing on the federal level 20 years ago, is going to try this back door attempt at gun control anyway. The current move to supress our Second Amendment gun rights in Clifornia, is more an exercise in controlling people rather than firearms. This strategy will attempt to push forward incrementally until the liberal extremist and their radical socialists allies, finally dilute totally our rights to bear arms. If they are ever successful you can kiss your right to defend your liberty and right to privacy - goodbye.

All the more reason to make arms and ammo cheap and available. Hmm, maybe I chose the wrong profession.
