Obama’s Iran Policy – A Trip To The Twilight Zone

“To be matter a fact about the world is to blunder into fantasy….”

Robert Heinlein

Here again we see an accurate descriptor of the President.  Barack Obama seems incapable of realizing that predators do not negotiate – they wait for any sign of weakness and then strike.

The Mullahs have twice spit in Obama’s face, first by formulating an alliance with with El Gordo Gato Chavez for much needed gasoline, and then yesterday by firing a Shabaz 3 missile, capable of hitting our military bases in the middle east as well as Israel, to prove the point that they can and will do anything they feel like doing .

One point overlooked in the firing of this missile, as mentioned by columnist Brian York on The Bret Bair Report on the Fox News Cabal channel yesterday, Monday, September 28, is that while not yet able to carry nuclear warheads these missiles are quite capable of carrying high explosive payloads.

On Thursday, October 1, 2009, the UN Security Council is going to meet with Iran’s nuclear negotiator; I would be willing to bet this  attempt will be an exercise in futility. Iran has announced repeatedly that they will not stop their nuclear development program and have blatantly announced this week, a second facility which is in the process of setting up even more centrifuges to facilitate production of nuclear weapons grade plutonium.

Meanwhile, Obama is traveling to Copenhagen, Denmark to pitch a bid for Chicago to host the 2016 Olympic games; our troops in Afghanistan are without any clear strategy, saddled with ridiculous ‘Rules of Engagement’, and still dying while this incompetent excuse for a Commander in Chief, flits around on another self aggrandizing tour. Continuing on with Iran….

Obama is still maintaining that diplomacy, which if it fails, will be supplemented with additional sanctions against Iran. The Iranians don’t seem to care. Russia has not committed themselves to that approach, (they are making tons of money by helping the Iranians in their nuclear development), and the Chinese, (who did nothing to inhibit North Korea’s nuclear development), have nothing to gain by backing Obama’s weak display of leadership. I venture in fact that their reluctance is to their advantage. While Obama is showing his weakness in dealing with the psychotic Mullah’s, the Russians and Chinese are benefiting by letting Obama’s incompetent leadership further weaken American influence on the world stage.

At this point one can only wonder what is going through Obama’s head. We are once again faced with wondering if his robotic smile and emotionless expressions, are a mask for something far more dangerous. As I continually watch this President the idea of a ‘Manchurian candidate’ does not seem so far fetched.  Just my opinion.

A news article regarding the Geneva nuclear talks:

“Talk is no substitute for action,” the president said. “Our patience is not limited.”

Maybe he talks so cryptically because he never has a definite answer?

Iran is solidly suspect #1 behind all of the unrest in the entire region and is part of the islamic caliphate axis of evil. This axis included the now dead Saddam Hussein and Yassir Arafat. My interpretation of Obama’s engagement of this demonstrated threat is not engagement at all. In fact I am seeing the same level of confrontation that allowed Hussein to remain in power and erase human beings every day for thirty years. The Intelligence Wars by Steve O’Hern is a very good chronicle http://intelligencewars.com/.

A second is The Secret History of the Iraq War by Yossef Bodansky. In there early on you will be surprised to learn that according to Bodansky, although the drum beat is no WMD, when Sadaam learned of our entry into the country in 2003 from Russian GRU Sigint intercepts provided to him he dispatched chemical weapons teams to intercept our special ops folks on the ground. This was well after Colin Powell and Bush spoke at the UN.

Obama is a well calculated guy and his actions since January have done nothing more than embolden the enemy.

I will invest in textiles since there will be a shortage of birkas.

Too bad Pete – but the textile industry move to the third world and there are no stocks to invest in – just Nikes for the starving children of the third world.

Well, only if Iran over inflates their market growth to a point of collapse and has to import women for procreation.

The scene: High School History Class
    The year: 1966
The discussion: Red China’s (we were allowed to say RED china back in the time of the ancients) nuclear weapons capabilities. After the teachers discourse many of us students voiced our concern that the U.S. was in danger of a nuclear weapons attack from RED China. Our teacher assured the class that we had nothing to fear since the RED Chinese had no missile delivery system capable of delivering an attack on U.S. soil. Maybe the Obamanator plans on selling trillions of dollars of our debt to Iran so it will be in their best interest not to blow us up….

Manchurian candidate is not a sinister enough word for a sycophant like Obama. I would say an “undercover (Arab Kenyan) brother” to the Iranians is more like it. Seems like Afghanistan isn’t one of those campaign promises he needs to keep, but the Olympic games are, besides he still holds connections there. In fact they’ve grown stronger, maybe our Big Brotha can profit from this endeavor.
