With regards to the beer fest at the White House yesterday, I can only describe it, and the media attention as insipid, (in this context as a ‘tastless’ event – no pun intended.) This gathering accomplished nothing but photo ops….Gates leaning back in his chair like one of the boys and Crowley looking ill at ease. The media was apparently more concerned about what brand of beer they were drinking rather than taking pokes at Obama for this transparent sham.
Gates has the reputation of an individual with a chip on his shoulder, and this meeting if anything, (I would guess), will in no way change his feelings of dislike of white folks. I am sure that when Gates releases his intended documentary, he will be the shown as the victim, his amigo Obama as the great black hope and Crowley as a representative of the police state that oppresses blacks, and what can one say to that other than….it’s just another day in the hood. Just my opinion.

Give credit where credit is due. While most see the Obamanator as a bumbling fool I see him as the guy who got the drop on Al Sharpton. I thought I saw the messiah, at that press conference while commenting on the stupidly acting Cambridge police, flash a rather discreet gang sign to the sharp one signaling him to back off; “Let’s go to the video tape”. And this begs the question, Is Al still entitled to his frequent flyer miles even though he didn’t fly up to Boston to aggitate?
