Bankers and Crooked Politicians – Partners in Crime

Banks gave out more than 32 billion in bonuses even as they took in 175 billion in taxpayer dollars.  Los Angeles Times – Front Page, Friday, July 31, 2009, by Walter Hamilton.  Citi Group and Merrill Lynch lost more than 53 billion combined last year….Yet they were among nine big banks that….paid out….bonuses-even as the banks took in….taxpayer money.

The sad thing about this whole affair is that the American public, (taxpayers), were defrauded by the banks with the help of their accomplices in both the White House and Congress. The fact that this took place towards the end of the Bush administration and was accelerated beyond belief by the current, (mo better), administration is beyond dispute-what is also beyond dispute is the fact that bonus money, (institutionalized fraud), has never been collected back by the government.  Why do you think that is?

I have a theory,the banks bought off both administrations and Congress. One current example , (with the Obama administration), is that Goldman Sachs employees contributed over 1 million dollars, which I previously reported, and sourced, in my article, “Obama and Goldman Sachs-Corruption in Play. I stated in that article some former Goldman and Sachs employees, (as one example of corruption), were appointed to political posts and government commissions, and I am sure a few more are hiding out as Obama’s Czar appointments – just a hunch.

Thomas Jefferson evidently knew his subject. I believe that banks and financial institutions should not be allowed to lobby Congress and that any contributions, (which are made by employees  of these institutions), should be scrutinized, and if discovered as a proxy donation for their institutions- be fined and imprisoned. My conclusion in all of this, (pretty easy to figure out), is that the banks and politicians are in bed together and both have corrupted our political system, (to date), on a scale never before experienced by this country.   Just my opinion.
