You waste too much time justifying ignorant comments. No one expects the President of the United States to say such things. He’s entitled to an opinion yes, but he should have been a bit more cautious about what comes out of his mouth. He is a leader first and foremost -not a black man but a leader. He was hired to lead our nation by example and he didn’t do so in this case…

I’m sorry, but I’m really sick of listening to rants of people who live their life on a racial band wagon. Really get over it……..

Well, I do know about racism in America, it has been institutionalized against my generation by the apologists who participated in the Red revolution of the last century. Surging and resurfacing and manifesting as Federally institutionalized racism against better qualified candidates in the job market, “quotas”. If stereotypes were not true, well “racial profiling” never would have surfaced. I would no longer call it as such, this professor is obviously a hate monger and is attempting to sell another book on what oppression whitey has handed out to him this century, quick to blame the current generations for the mistakes of the past, so essentially I am guilty of being born white. White apologist have ingrained and empowered these hate mongers to leverage themselves through social revolution to discriminate based on race. The supreme court has already ruled such actions as illegal, so Smart1 you are obviously drinking the cool aid and not considering the raw discrimination your generation is imposing upon mine. If America was so racist a black semi-militant alleged American president would not be claiming some small town cop of racism on national television. It is quite obvious to me, Obama is backing the agenda of hate mongers black and white to racially divide a country of majority whites who elected a black minority president. So obviously you and many like you have a chip on your shoulder and you have some dead socialist agenda to push. Each man’s interaction with law enforcement is based on his own actions, cognition and effective communication are the primary ways to avoid a negative outcome. Some people can not do such a thing, especially those who have a chip on their shoulders, thereby affecting their own destiny. This is obvious to all involved, Obama is no doubt a puppet and Professor Gates is profiteering from racism that exists, but mainly against the white majority, namely my generation in America. I am tired of being discriminated against and competing with non citizens for higher education, home loans and jobs, which they are not entitled. No one is entitled to a god damned thing and that’s what the past few generations have seem to forgotten and the current generations are being taught. I am a veteran and have fought for freedoms not expressed in the constitution and extended to those undeserving. I want all of the illegals out and so does 85% of all Americans *American Solutions.com–12 biggest polls ever conducted. I also want minorities to stop feeling they are entitled to anything and instead of shaking a hate mongers stick pointing it at a picture of the white devil in the classroom and in church, take responsibility and accountability of their own faults as a culture. As whites we must rid ourselves of white trash ourselves, which we can accomplish on our own, but we are not blaming corporate America and the Jewish financial institutions for creating them or financing them. At some point everyone is accountable for their own actions and the day that the black community is ready to do that, that is the day racism, true racism will end…at least between blacks and whites.

First off – I am a former Deputy Sheriff and never subjected anyone to the behavior you describe. Second, those of us from the Viet Nam era broke those barriers – yet radical activitists and race baiters, white and black, make a living off perpetuating hate. I was subjected to more abusive comments by minorities than I can count. I would suggest you look at the facts surrounding this incident – Professor Gates initiated the race baiting not Sgt. Crowley. However, that being said thank you for your opinion – at least we can all express ourselves at this date – the future – who knows.

I am really sick of hearing from commentators including you who are not of African American decent and have NO CLUE as to what happened nor have you ever been subjected to how we (African Americans) are treated when encountering police officers. This is not just a black police issue it’s a police issue in general. Policemen are programed to think when a African American is in the vicinity of a crime that we automatically are guilty. They approach us with hostility and don’t mind expressing it, they speak to us with disrespect and dare we speak back to them the same way. If we get upset and raise our voice or our facial expression change they are instantly ready to arrest us. I am a women and I have experienced this first hand. But when a white person is approached they are very accomodating and speak in a all together different tone, which was proven on a Nightline program. You and the other people on here making comments obviously have no idea of what your talking about. You have just taken what the cop said as truth because he is a cop but they lie and of course since this has gotten so much attention this cop is going to speak as though “I was just doing my job” but no one listened to Dr Gates who has more degree’s than 10 people put together. This is an symbol of racism in itself, believe the white guy and completely discount what the black guy said. Gates said the cop followed him through his house without permission and refused to give him his name and badge number. I have encountered this also, policemen get very defensive when you ask them for their name and badge number for some reason. Dr Gates may have overreacted but as an policemen who was on his job which is to protect and serve he should have defused the situation instead of exasperating it. The police may have been doing his job but the question is could he have been more patient and accomodating knowing this man was upset? YES HE COULD HAVE !!!! The professor should have NEVER ended up in hand cuffs and that’s what the President meant when he said “the police dept acted stupidly”. Policemen are prones to overreacting when a black man raises their voice, ask to many questions or doesn’t lay down like a slave. How do you think Rodney King ended up being beaten or how the young man was shot dead in the streets of NYC the day before he was to wed. You are looking at this from another whole perspective one that you have not experience as a black persons, so what you and the people on this and all comment sites, other MSM are saying is irrelevant because you have no clue. This is where white Americans really become sickening speaking from a blind point of view. The President has probably experienced something resembling this before, we all have.

SO DON’T COMMENT ON WHAT YOU HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED BEFORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
