The CIA – licensed to kill for decades. (Los Angeles Times – OP-ED, July 22, 2009, by David Wise.)
Comment – Opinion. The author of this beat up old piece is like most liberals – living in the twilight zone. It doesn’t take a space scientist to know that the CIA, like every other intelligence agency, have been involved in assassinations, as have all intelligence organizations, throughout history. However, in this piece the author indignantly points to the current non issue of the counter-terrorist assassination scheme proposed by the CIA in 2001, to hunt down and kill Al Qaeda terrorists, without informing Congress - and we know the plan never became operational so no laws were broken.
This article, like all those printed, (regarding this issue), in the main stream media, is a distraction from Hugo Obama’s push for health care reform. It has become apparent that the elites who control the mainstream media are willing participants in Obama’s grand plan to bankrupt our economy further than it currently is. The problem is once again, (as I have pointed out ad-nauseum), that these people have never lived under a real threat because people like those in the CIA and our military have no compunction about taking out our enemies. The reality is that these people are cowards and run among the elites like a bunch of frightened gazelles who would have no shame in lying down on their backs for the enemy. Just my opinion.
