Comment – Opinion. President James Polk in his last speech to Congress on December 5, 1848, was quoted as saying: “The mere passage of a bill by Congress is no conclusive evidence that those who passed it, represent the majority of the people.’
This might be a message to those who are trying to pass health care reform, a program that has been analyzed as being unable to be financially maintainable, in a report to Congress, by the non-partisan, Congressional Budget Office.
Despite being warned of the consequences of the financial unworkability of the program – Obama’s Democrat acolytes, led by that charming sweetheart, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, seemed determined to accede to their masters wishes regardless of the consequences.
Let’s forget, for the moment, Obama’s lack of executive experience and ignorance of macro-economics. In his quest to become the great socialist innovator, he is ignoring the advice of people who do understand economics and do have a concern that this program will, in addition to directly taxing the so called “rich,” will also tax the average middle class family by taxing their current health care benefits as a penalty for not participating his grandiose health care system.
It is easy to see that there is more in play here. His ego, very fragile when criticised, refuses to believe that his socialist agenda may not be what the majority of Americans want – yet he will try to shove it down our throats. The biggest problem though is how to reverse, if at all possible, the damage of excessive taxation and government control in areas in which they have no expertise, once he and his merry band of idiots are hopefully voted out of office – though I am sure if that looks like a possibility, he may attempt to suborn our democratic system and pull a Hugo Chavez on us – that of course will lead to something we might not want to think about and that result will leave our country weakened and divided.
If my above scenario seems preposterous, then you have not read his books and are not paying attention to his real goal – socialist subversion of our constitution in the interest of global socialism. History does repeat itself -only in this case Obama’s attempt to stomp out our personal freedom of choice will be the exception in the American experience. It is up to us to not let that happen. Just my opinion.

Presently I disagree with the idea or opinion that Obama will slip and fall. There is a glaring difference separating the Obamanation from a Hitler’s nazi Germany or a Mussolini’s fascist Italy. While they suborned their countrys’ respective constitutions allowing each to exerise unbridled meglomania leading to their eventual downfalls, our man in the Whitehouse, a master of delegation since he is unable to formulate or carry out any ideas on his own, will use our constitution and his fellow elected cronies- i was going to say cohorts but that would be a slap in the face to the glorious ancient Roman legions-to strangle this country. Does anyne out there truly believe we have the population to stand against this impending downfall of this once great republic? Ponder this: Imagine having voted for Ted Kennedy, Nany Pelosi, Chris Dodd, Barney Frank, Joe Biden, the RINO Republicans, etc., and then voting for them a second, third or fourth time? This is the electorate that can be looked to to make a rationalization about the need to save our country? But there is a light at the end of he tunnel….the proverbial oncoming freight train! God help my children.
