Comment – Opinion. It seems that we are to often distracted by the murderers in Guantanamo or the domestic killers like the thankfully dead, Dr. Tiller….but what about the real terrorists in our country, pedophiles, drug dealers and gang members.
Today a 10 year old girl named Lindsay was reported in the news to have been abducted in the small town where she lived, in Washington state. We hear more and more about our children being kidnapped, sexually molested or murdered by mentally defective pedophiles. However, the worst part of this equation is the liberal judges and the ACLU who in their frenetic rush to protect individual rights stumble over each other protecting the rights of those who violate normal human behavior. Law enforcement tries it’s best to deal with the problem by rounding up these animals but the two aforementioned parties frustrate cops and those prosecutors who want to put these animals away permanently – sometimes in conjunction with weak prosecutors who take the easy way out by accepting plea bargains. There should not be plea bargains for child rapists and all the other criminal sociopath’s running loose in our society.
Recently an Oklahoma judge gave a child rapist a minimal jail sentence because he allegedly was in poor health – the same excuse he used that set him free to rape the children in this current drama. I would amend the Bill of Rights to exclude not only pedophiles from protection of rights granted under our Constitution, but also gang members and other sociopaths who terrorize our society on a day to day basis.
The punishment given to these animals is based on the premise that they can be rehabilitated – we know given our daily dose of the damage done by repeat offenders, that rehabilitation is minimal at best. I would offer one piece of advice to all – keep an eye on your children and protect them as best as possible – the criminal justice system won’t. Just my opinion.

I think the China syndrome would do wonders with this predicament of child molesters, child rapists, rapists, and murderers; execution at he expense of the family. Not only would that free up a lot of tax dollars, but it would give closure to the American citizenry and community. What happened to the sense of Justice that once thrived in American community, I know the commies of the 60-70′s couldn’t have driven out that base human survival mechanism. I think Americans have grown too comfortable in doing nothing and as such, we are falling into the same pitfalls Europe has been bumbling over for since shortly after WWII.
If only we could punish those liberal judges by putting them in rehabilitation programs with the criminals that they sent to rehabilitation programs.
That is why every parent is concerned when anybody can go to a “nice” part of town and act like a criminal. These are target areas. But the police response is usually reactionary. Parents, myself included, need to be proactive in watching their kids at all times. Kidnapping only happens when you least expect it.
