Clinton Urges Obama To Talk Tough On Iran. (Washington Times, July 1, 2009, by Nicholas Kralov.) ” Secretary of State Hillary Clinton urged President Obama for two days to toughen his language on Iran, before he did so, and then was surprised when he condemned Iran’s crackdown on demonstrators last week.”
Well….one thing’s for sure – if a Democrat were to be elected to the Oval Office – it should have been Hillary. It would seem apparent to any intelligent observer that Obama, despite his assurances that he is on top of things, is seriously deficient when it comes to foreign policy and a servant to perceptions that display a confusion on the reality of the “real politik” that governs world events. The Europeons may already be beginning to realize this, and that perhaps is the reason they were quick to condemn the Mullah’s over the apparent election fraud in Iran; bottom line – Obama’s apparent show of confidence in all things, is just that, a show.
Interim Honduran Leader Vows Zelaya Will Not Return. (FoxNews.com – From A.P. Wire, July 1, 2009.) Tegucigalpa, Honduras.” Honduran’s interim leader warned that the only way his predecessor will return to office is through a foreign invasion – though a potential showdown with the ousted President was delayed due to action Wednesday by the Organization of American States.”
This again is another indication, as I pointed out yesterday, where Obama instead of calling for a rational discussion over the illegal action’s of the ousted Zelaya, instead condemned the coup leaders who acted to prevent a Chavez style take over of the Honduran government….again, as I have pointed out, it is apparent where his sympathies lie…only a fool would not see that Obama is a socialist enabler and therefore highly suspect in his current policies of trying to reshape America into his version of the socialist dream.
Chavez has threatened to invade if Zelaya is not returned to power – a move perhaps to bolster his own corrupt dictatorship by diverting attention from Venezuela’s economy which has been ruined by his repressive socialist economic policy. What Obama has done by his condemnation of the coup, is to give legitamacy to Chavez’s threat – great job Obama. Just my opinion.
Beaudreaux
Hey Eloas,
My friends call me Goo for short.
You know if a woman were to be president, I would have liked to see Sarah Palin be president–after McCain, kicked the bucket of course– who knows maybe people will wise up….yeah, who am I kidding, when Alaska succeeds the union I think I will be headed that way.
Great analogy Beaudreaux, I think you’ve continued to hit the nail on the head.
hahahah, lol that’s funny goo goo eyes!
If I were Michelle Obama for Christmas-oops-winter solstice celebration, I wiould get him those camouflage pajamas he has always wanted. Imagine his joy, waking up in the middle of the night imagining he was sleeping in a real banana republic, and not the half-hearted one he is creating?
