Disney learns political correctness can backfire.

Comment.  I read this morning that Disney Pictures was under-fire for it’s portrayal of the first African American animated ‘princess’ character set to release  over the Christmas holiday titled The Princess and the Frog.   (FoxNews.com – from The Times, April 25, 2009).

It seems that the character in controversy  Princess Talia, is not being portrayed with ‘racial sensitivity.’ The princess was originally portrayed as a chambermaid who kisses the frog, etc, etc – another words a variation on Snow White or whatever or whoever kisses what and changes them into a human or whatever…..anyway, bowing to pressure by black activists, unemployed I would guess, who had the time to give their opinion, the princess was changed into a restaurant entrepreneur. The second issue, and I’m sure they will come up with more, was that the story takes place in New Orleans – what? Yep that’s considered insensitive, (I thought N.O. mayor Nagin said it was a “chocolate’ city.) Wait a minute, now I get it!

Not only was it considered by these activists to be racialy insensitive profiling but the story portrayal had her kissing a white prince, who Disney animators had given an olive skin tone, (boy, talk about a double standard – oh, oh I guess I’m not allowed to  use the word boy). I don’t think I am going to go further on this one because Homeland Security might profile me as a ‘white – right wing extremist’ for daring to insinuate that black activists have a double standard when it comes to percieved racial issues. The whole issue in my opinion has become a cartoon in itself because the politically correct morons who  propagate this nonsense have some kind of guilt complex that has been rotting their brains all these years, and who knows, may be the cause of the current pandemic of erectile dysfunction,  global warming or maybe,  the current the swine flu epidemic in Mexico.

I believe political correctness a mental disease, or maybe like a bad case of the clap, ( both of which are a source of guilt and painyou decide), afflicting those who are too weak to see the absurdity that is swallowing up any attempt at critical thought on our reality – wake up you buffoons – there is more to life than the pain and confusion you are inflicting on the rest of us.

I am pondering the meaning of Godiva’s “White Chocolate” while there is no “Black Vanilla”….H’mmm. Once I lose my job I will spend more time analyzing what must surely be a right wing confectioners conspiracy to subtely suggest, err…. Obviousely I could never be a racist malcontent with nothing better to do since I can’t come up with an ulterior motive for the bastardization of chocolate.
