Al Gore and his ‘carbon offsets’ scam

Comment – opinion.  There is no doubt that there is a cyclable environmental change taking place on our planet.That being said the question of cause and effect leaves itself open to question. One only needs to look at past geological history to see that these changes have taken place when there were  no cars, power plants or enough cows to produce the flatulence needed to offset a habitable climate necessary to sustain life on our planet. That being said lets take a look at Al Gore’s questionable scientific conclusion that we, mankind, (also women kind to be politically correct), are responsible for the impending global catastrophe as predicted by Gore,  and his rich cronies.

It has been estimated by reputable climatologists, (based upon my reading from various sources including Scientific American and National Geographic publications over the last few years – I quote no particular issue), that the cycle of cooling and warming trends occur approximately every 12,000 to 20,000 years. During the time in-between these natural occurrences there are micro cooling and warming events that occur in additional time variants of every few hundred years, (as witness the worldwide cooling during the middle ages, and again during the winters of 1777 – 1778 – where the growing season was so short that many crops were not able to grow to maturity). Now back to the windbag from Tennessee.

Generation Investment Management Corporation was founded by Al Gore and ex-Goldman Sachs CEO, David Blood, ( the firm has been nicknamed   ‘Blood and Gore’ by competitors – very appropriate in my view). Generation Investment Management is headquartered in the  UK and regulated by the Financial Services Authority,(Wikpedia.com). According to  an another article, (WorldNetDailey.com, March 2, 2007), Gore maintains a “carbon neutral” lifestyle. 

What this means is that Gore, (who according to the Nashville Center For Policy Research who in turn citing  the  Tennessee Electric Service, Gore used  16,000 kilowatt hours a month in 2007 – with the total amount reported from the same source , showing an increase  to 18,700 kilowatts per month in 2008 – 25 per cent higher than is average for the Nashville area), buys “carbon credits” to offset his high usage of electricity,  private jet,  limousine,  and whatever other energy consuming creature comfort devices  necessary for the lifestyles of the rich and bloated parasites, (who are subject to a different standard than the average citizen).  

It seem apparent then, that when all is said and done, that  when Gore  pays “offset credits” his company, Generation Investment  Management, (with those premiums paid,  dedicated to the profit making  alternative energy research  production companies,  from whom he receives a substantial income each month), he is actually paying himself, (this perhaps proving the proverbial “one hand washing the other”  – a common pastime of the rich, who are held to a different standard of permissible excess afforded by  their wealth, than are the rest of us).

In summary, the public is once again left scammed, being told to cut down on our power consumption, drive cramped little cars, (the latest technology for these cars - believe it or not come from one of the alternative energy development companies under the GIM umbrella – again a profit making entity for Gore),  and use spiral shaped energy saving light bulbs, which I find to be impossible to read by, (actually little fluorescent lights – which are highly toxic to the environment),  that contain poisonous mercury vapors as the ignition source that produces the light coming from the bulb, (and I might add that the safety procedures, outlined by the manufacturer – a Chinese company –  are that in the event one of these bulbs breaks you need to use  a face mask and thick gloves before you handle the broken glass – which if it cuts you can induce mercury poisoning).  I leave it to the reader to decide if they, this summer, will use a hand held fan, rather than their air conditioner to cool themselves in the summing summer months.
